Ukrain Grandmaster Georgy Timoschenko arrived in Bhubaneswar today to impart coaching to three promising chess players of the State from June 17. Woman International Master Padmini Rout, Anwesh Upadhyaya and Utkal Ranjan Sahu will receive the coaching at Nalco guest house in city for around a month, officials of Orissa Chess Review, the organiser of the programme, said.
Timoschenko will be paid Rs 10,000 per day for the assignment and the total coaching fee will be bourne by the families of the three concerned players. Nalco has agreed to provide hospitality to the Ukrain coach,`` the officials stated.
